NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Adam Maher fired a no-hitter in game two and Ryan Qualey pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts in game one to lead the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs to a sweep of the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a Little East Conference baseball doubleheader Friday afternoon at the UMass Dartmouth Baseball Field.

rd games between the Huskies and the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs. Southern Maine leads the series with UMass Dartmouth 73-30. The Huskies had won five of the last six dating back through the 2021 season and swept the Corsairs in 2023 (6-4, 6-2) in Gorham on April 2.

- Qualey held the Huskies to five hits (four singles) and struck out 11 to lead the Corsairs to the shutout victory.
- Joe Muzio and Matt Tempone each had two RBI for UMass Dartmouth finishing the game 2-for-4 at the plate. Muzio's double in the bottom of the first plated the Corsairs' first run of the game.
- Southern Maine sophomore Hunter Brissette (Lisbon, Maine) collected three of the Huskies' five hits in the game from his spot in the top of the lineup. Sophomore Kyle Douin (Augusta, Maine/Cony) had a double, while senior Lucas Francis (Lisbon, Maine/Libson Falls) had a single.
Game 2 – UMass Dartmouth 5, Southern Maine 0
- Maher had a career-best 14 strikeouts to fire the no-hitter for the Corsairs in game two.
- The Corsairs went ahead 1-0 in the bottom of the first scoring an unearned run on an RBI single from Jake SanAntonio, and then sent ahead 2-0 in the bottom of the third on a two-out solo home run from Devyn Vezina. Vezina made it 3-0 with a fielder's choice RBI in the fifth.
- Chance Checca had a sac fly RBI in the sixth, and Cooper Wixon drove in the Corsairs final run of the game in the eighth for the 5-0 final with an RBI single.

Southern Maine remains on the road and heads north to Bowdoin College on Tuesday, March 26 (6:00 pm) for a non-conference game. The Huskies then face Endicott College on Wednesday, March 27 (3:30 pm) for another non-conference match up. Southern Maine is slated for its home-opener on Saturday, March 30 (12:00/3:00 pm).
