KEENE, N.H. - The University of Southern Maine Huskies out shot the Keene State College Owls 30-9, including 21-2 in the second half, but could not get the go-ahead goal, settling for a 0-0 draw on the road at Dr. Ron Butcher Field in a Little East Conference women's soccer action.
The draw extends the Huskies' unbeaten streak to 15 games (11-0-34 and grows the program record for most games unbeaten. The previous record of 12 games was set in 2022 (UMaine Farmington 9/14/22 through Keene State 10/22/22).

Today's game marked the 28
th meeting between the University of Southern Maine and the Keene State College Owls. Keene State leads the overall series 22-4-1; however, the Huskies are 3-1-1 in the last five contests, including today's draw.

How It Happened:
- Southern Maine pressured early recording four shots and three corner kicks in the opening 15 minutes of the game. Sophomore Riley Reitchel (Palermo, Maine/Erskine Academy) had one of her four shots on goal in the game saved off the line by a defender in the 10th minute.
- The Owls had seven shots in the opening half, compared to nine for the Huskies, but did not have their first shot on goal until the 39th minute. However, senior goalkeeper Breanna Atwood (Franklin, Mass.) made the stop.
- Southern Maine continued to apply pressure rifling off nine shots in the first 20 minutes of the second half. KSC goalkeeper Sonia Moritz, who finished with 10 saves, made back-to-back stops on shots from juniors Julia McKenna (Windham, Maine) and Kiki Huntress (Kittery Points, Maine/Traip Academy).
- The Huskies had a near goal in the 72nd minute when Reitchel sent one off of cross bar. Huntress collected the rebound and fired one in on frame only to be stopped by Moritz seconds later. Reitchel had her second shot of the 72nd minute following Huntress' saved shot, and again was stymied by Moritz.
- Senior Catriona Gould (Freeport, Maine) nearly had the winner in the 89th minute but her shot was denied by the right post.
