NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.   –  The UMass Dartmouth Corsairs extended their winning streak to 10 games as five players scored in double figures as UMassD defeated Southern Maine 96-57 in a Little East Conference men's basketball game Saturday afternoon at the Tripp Athletic Center.
 
The Corsairs' Adam Seablom led all scorers with 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting.  Marcus Azor added 17 points and nine assists, while Mike Eurquhart registed a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.  Eurquhart helped UMassD to a 53-29 advantage on the glass.
 
The Huskies 2-1 in their last three games see their two-game win streak come to an end with the loss.

Series History:  Today's match up marked the 78^th meeting between the Corsairs and the Huskies.  UMass Dartmouth has won the last five and leads the series 68-11.

How It Happened: 

•  Azor scored 10 of his 17 points in the opening half as UMass Dartmouth opened up a commanding 45-25 lead at the break.  The Corsairs shot 47.6 percent (20-for-42) from the field in the first half of action. UMassD pulled down 10 offensive boards in the first half and scored 23 second chance points.
• The Corsairs opened the second half just as hot, scoring the first nine points to lead 54-25 with 17:22 remaining on a pair of free throws from Seablom.
• The Corsiars were 18-for-37 from the field in the second half, and went 8-for-16 from three. Seablom finished the game with a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.  

 
Inside the Stats: 

•  Lombard has averaged 6.3 assists per game over the last three games for the Huskies. During the Huskies last three games, Lombard's stat line is 7.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.
• Chadbourne is averaging 13.3 points per game over the last three games for USM.  He has shot 52 percent (11-for-21) from three-point range during that stretch.
