DANBURY, Conn. – Myah Croze scored the lone goal of the contest in the 50
th minute to lift the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a 1-0 victory over the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a Little East Conference women's soccer game Saturday afternoon at Western Athletic Complex.
The final regular season contest for both teams, the Wolves are the 2021 defending LEC Tournament Champions and regular-season champions, while the Huskies are the newly crowned 2022 LEC Regular Season Champions. Both teams will have a quarterfinal bye headed into the 2022 LEC Tournament Championship. The Huskies are the no. 1 seed, while Western is the no. 2 seed.

How It Happened:
- Croze scored her eighth goal of the season to set the Wolves up for the win after receiving a feed from Suzana Imetovski.
- Firing 13 shots at goal (five on frame), Southern Maine was unable to get the equalizer past WestConn goalkeeper Kristen Roessler.
