WATERVILLE, Maine. – In a Wednesday night non-conference volleyball game, the University of Southern Maine Huskies were defeated by the Colby College Mules in three sets.

History: The Mules now have a 20-4 record against the Huskies.
How It Happened:
- The Mules took the first set 25-14 and had a .370 hitting percentage.
- The second set featured five ties and three lead changes and while the Huskies' performance improved from the first set, they fell 25-22 to go down two sets to none.
- Colby cruised to a 25-12 victory in the third set to sweep the match 3-0.

- Juniors Brianna Delloiacono (Moodus, Conn./ Nathan Hale-Ray) and Meg Perry (Gorham, Maine) each had six kills to tie for the team lead.
- Senior Sophie Lindsay (Sierra Madre, Cail./Pasadena) paced the team in assists (15), digs (nine) and service aces (three).
- Hannah Wyllie recorded four blocks and 11 digs for the Mules.
- Sydney Sick had a game-leading 24 assists and Bella Schumacher led all players in digs with 19.
