BANGOR, ME – The University of Southern Maine volleyball team's winning streak reached three games as they swept through non-conference opponent Husson University Tuesday evening. With the victory, the Huskies improve to 5-6 overall while the Eagles slide o 2-8 overall.
The sweep was the third straight for USM as they have not lost a set during their last three matches. It was their fourth three-set win during the 2021 season. Husson suffered their eighth consecutive defeat and they have been outscored 15-1 across their last five matches.

History: This was the 54th meeting between the two programs. The Huskies are 38-16 against the Eagles in the series.
