GORHAM, Maine –  With just under a week before the first home games of the 2021-2022 academic year, University of Southern Maine Athletics welcomes back Husky fans and spectators under the following guidelines:  

• Spectators must wear masks at all indoor venues: Hill Gymnasium (volleyball), Costello Field House (women's tennis – when indoors).
• Spectators are not required to wear masks at outdoor venues but are encourage to practice social distancing: Hannaford Field (field hockey, men's soccer, and women's soccer).
• Only service animals are permitted.

         "We are excited to begin our fall sports competition and we are grateful that our fall sport student-athletes have the opportunity to take the field with their respective teams," noted USM Director of Athletics Al Bean.  "Additionally, we are happy to welcome back our Husky fans and spectators to each of our competition arenas.  We ask for your cooperation in our commitment to safety for an enjoyable and successful 2021-2022 season."
