Hudnut was one of three Mules in double-figures, finishing the game 6-for-19 from the field and 3-for-6 from three-point range.  Junior Connor O'Neil (Freeport, Maine/Cheverus) added 14 points on a 5-for-10 performance, while sophomore Sam Wilson (Watertown, Conn.) chipped in with 11 point and seven rebounds off of the bench.  Hudnut scored 11 of his 20 points in the first half to help the Mules to a 34-27 halftime lead.

Senior guard Conor Sullivan (Scarborough, Maine) led the Huskies with 19 points, adding four rebounds, two assists and two steals.  Senior forward Tyler Penney (Barnstead, N.H./Bishop Brady) added 14 points and five rebounds. Sophomore guard Sean Caddigan (Bethel, Maine/Telstar) tossed in 11 points off of the bench.  Caddigan has scored in double-digits in three of the Huskies' last four games in a reserve role.

Trailing by 12, 60-48, with 6:33 to play, the Huskies rallied to pull to within four of the Huskies with 1:50 to play.  Sullivan scored five of the Huskies points in the 10-2 run to put his team within striking distance of the Mules.  Trailing 62-57 after a free throw from Sullivan, the Huskies' Penney came up huge defensively with a blocked shot before diving to the floor for the rebound with 1:40 to play. Penney made one of two free throws to set up the 62-58 score.  The Mules however were able to fend off the Huskies in their next possession wiping away over a minute of clock time, coming up with three offensive rebounds to extend their time on the ball. Hudnut scored his 20th point of the game with 22 seconds to play, effectively putting the game out of reach as he scored one of two free throws.  The Huskies had two looks at the basket before time ran out.
