After a run of 15-6 favor of the Huskies, USM trailed 54-44 following a short jumper from Knight on a feed from McNamara.  A jumper from Petrow gave KSC a 12-point lead, but Callendar scored 12 of the Huskies' next 14 points as part of a 14-12 run to tie the game up 58.

In overtime, D'Annolfo scored the first basket of the period to give Keene a 60-58. Keene would hold the lead for the period. The Huskies' trailed by two, 66-64, after a layup from Knight with seconds on the clock, but sophomore Kelsey Cognetta (Stamford, Conn.) sank two free throws to put the game out of reach for the 68-64 final.
