UMass Dartmouth Defeats Southern Maine 6-3
            DARTMOUTH, Mass.  – Senior Kyle Curley (Gorham, Maine) remained undefeated in Little East Confernece action with a 6-1, 6-1 win at first singles to highlight the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a 6-3 loss at the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs in an LEC men's tennis match Sunday afternoon.

            With the win, UMass Dartmouth concludes its regular season at 7-10 overall and 4-2 in the Little East.  The Corsairs will continue their 2017 season in the LEC Championship tournament.  Southern Maine concludes its season at 1-9 overall and 1-5 in the conference.

            Along with Curley's win at first singles over senior Corey Rafter (Franklin, Mass.), Southern Maine junior Samuel Holland (Falmouth, Maine) picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win at second singles over sophomore Anthony Joseph (Fairhaven, Mass.).  Curley and Holland also scored USM's lone point in doubles action winning at the top of the lineup 8-3 over Rafter and junior Patrick Pacheco (Fall River, Mass.) .
