GORHAM, Maine – Twenty University of Southern Maine Huskies' spring sport student-athletes have been recognized by the Little East Conference for their academic achievements, earning each student-athlete a spot on the 2018 Little East Conference Spring All-Academic Team. Student-athletes from each of Southern Maine's seven Little East Conference (LEC) sponsored teams have representatives on the All-Academic Team: baseball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis, men's outdoor track & field, and women's outdoor track & field.

Acquiring LEC Rookie of the Week and LEC Player of the Week accolades during her 2018 season, Martin led Southern Maine with a .352 batting average collecting 51 hits in 145 at bats to earn her spot on the all-conference second team.
